Three Day Weekend

Last Monday I received a phone call from and insurance agency that I applied for a front desk position at. I went in and had a short but straight to the point interview and the very next morning I got a call back and I started on Wednesday. I was so excited to be working again and I couldn't believe how easy it was to get the position. I love it there everyone is so nice they are all older then me and they are so much fun to work with. Right now I am being trained by Ruth who is the morning receptionist and when I come in at noon to five she goes back into accounting since that person is leaving the company. Ruth reminds me of my mom in a lot of ways. She is about the same age as my mom would have been, her sense of humor is similar to my moms and she has this great personality that makes it easy to get along with. I have learned all the basic duties and they told me once I have it down to a perfection the agents will give me some work that they don't have time for to complete. I am very excited to be working again. I especially like the fact that I only work for five hours. I have a family of young girls that trade off with each other who watch Kemper for me. They are great and Kemper just loves them. I also have a daycare picked out for when the girls go back to school.

I got a three day weekend for the Fourth of July Holiday. Saturday Kemper and I walked to Boulevard Ave since it is only a couple blocks from our house and watched the parade. It was cold at first but it started warming up with just a slight breeze. The parade lasted almost two hours. It was a lot of fun and Kemper enjoyed the horses the best which he called dogs. I kept correcting him saying no it's a horse not a dog and he would reply, dog? He is such a funny boy. Jordan had his booth set up at the Green Belt to see his product from Kopter Krazy. We spent most of the afternoon there with him and came home for a short nap so he wasn't worn out for the fire works display. I walked back around seven so we could save our spot where Jordan's booth was set up. Jordan took the product home and came back around the same time my mother in law arrived. We enjoyed all the yummy food and sat a talked until the fire works started up. It was a great show and we had a perfect view. Kemper really liked the display and fell asleep in Jordan's lap. It was really cold so we were all bundled up. I walked home with Kemper in the stroller since there was no room in our car for everything to fit.

Jordan's dad has been in the hospital since Thursday because of his kidneys. He had a procedure done to break up some kidney stones and it was too much for them to handle and he now has some bleeding going on and severe pain. We went to Fort Hall last night and got some pretty good fire works for half off and we are going to put on a firework show for Kelley as soon as he is well enough to come home.

After a busy weekend I have spent the morning cleaning and I am now on laundry which will be the last of my chores today. Kemper is upstairs sleeping and I have been on the computer in between loads. Jordan is at work and I am excited for him to come home so we can have and evening to relax. We will go see his dad and keep everyone updated.
