It's been a while

So let's catch everyone up real quick, Jordan worked for Central for six months, we were having a hard time being away from each other. He would be out on the road for four to six weeks at a time and with a baby and a wife it was so hard for all of us. Jordan came home and is managing Kopter Krazy in the mall again. My job...well let's just say I'm glad I'm not there anymore. I miss my co-workers, they were all so good to me but certain circumstances just made it impossible for me to continue to work for them. I am now a stay at home mama again! I absolutely love being here with my little man and I am actively searching for a job.

Jordan has been applying for various jobs at the Bonneville County Jail and ISP for about two years. Just this past week he received a call for an interview for a dispatcher in Meridian ID. We are so excited about this. Jordan has tried many jobs and has never been happy with them and he feels he needs to be in law enforcement. He has applied for the law enforcement program at ISU so we will see where life takes us. We leave this next week and are very excited to get out of little old Idaho Falls and take on the big city for a little get-away!

Another big event in our life was Kemper's second birthday April 5,2011. We went swimming on Monday April 4th at Heise Hot Springs. All who came were: Aunt Carol, Grandma, Robin, Kelley and our little family. We had so much fun aside from the fact that it was pretty cold. We hung out in the hot tub for most of the time. We came back to our house and ordered pizza which is Kemper's favorite. Bronwyn joined us for dinner and cake. I made a Mickey Mouse cake with a mold I found, it was a red velvet cake with black cream cheese frosting! It was so stinking cute. Kemper was so excited about it and after dad helped him blow out his number 2 candle, he reached for it and burned his hand and then was afraid of his cake. Poor little guy, but with mama's help he dug right into that cake like there was no tomorrow. He sure got spoiled this year. Grandma and Grandpa got him a cozy coupe and we got him a little tricycle. From the aunts he received some other toys and clothes. The best gift I must say came from Grandma aka Mimi, it was a little Thomas the Tank Engine motorized train and track.

Kemper is absolutely in love with trains he loves whenever there is a cartoon about trains on and the first thing he asks for when he wakes up is his little trains that he got from Grandma. I love that he is so passionate about something. It has been a blast seeing his little personality come out. We went to the temple visitors center on Mother's Day to see the exhibit. Kemper heard a train and now whenever we talk about the temple he will say choo choo.

I had a wonderful Mothers Day. It was also my birthday and the day Jordan proposed to me. It was such a special day for me. We went to church and then ate at Garcia's. They do the Mothers Day buffet every year and it is my favorite. At the Visitors Center Kemper was so excited to see Jesus. He calls him Jeez and thought it was really neat when he held his hand. It was such a beautiful moment to see Kemper's reaction has they played the message. I knew that Kemper knew exactly who it was and that it wasn't just a recording that was speaking.

We are such a blessed family and I am so excited for what the future holds for us. Some exciting events that we are looking forward to are, becoming an eternal family and preparing to add a second little angel to our beautiful family.
